Skiing in Montafon

INFORMATION

Montafon is a 39 km long valley in Vorarlberg in Austria. The Montafon has 5 ski areas "Golm", "Silvretta Montafon", "Gargellen", "Silbertal-Kristberg" and "Silvretta-Bielerhöhe" with 60 ski lifts and 225 km ski slopes. For example the HochjochTotale is Vorarlberg’s longest descent starting at the Hochalpila Grat at 2,430 m and has a vertical difference of 1,700 m.

They also offer various fun parks with half pipes for Freeriding and 121 km of classic routes as well as 33 km skating-routes for Cross-country skiing. If you enjoy ski mountaineering, you can do that on every mountain in the Montafon.
