Gerhard is a coveted speaker at conferences around the world, who has a deep burden to see a revival of praying men. His intense preaching style greatly inspires and moves the hearts of those who hear him preach. Originally from South Africa, he was brought up in the Dutch Reformed church and trained as an evangelist there.

He and his wife Janice are working for Life Action Canada since 2011. Before he worked for The Faith Mission in Canada, an interdenominational, international ministry. Along with a vibrant prayer life, he brings personal experience and a rich knowledge of God and the scriptures.
